Parents and students can now access information from our new student information system ("Infinite Campus"). In order to access information regarding grades and attendance you will need to contact the school to receive your User ID and Password. Welcome to the Trademark web site. Please contact us if you need help becoming familiar with and using our web site. The phone number for the main office is 348-3550.

Trademark is an alternative high school with WCSD#6. To enroll at Trademark students need to complete an application to be considered. Applications may be picked up at the school between the hours of 7:30a.m. to 4:00p.m. Student enrollment is limited to 100 students throughout the school year, grades 9-12. Our staff is the best and they work very hard to help students to achieve their goals and be successful.

Attendance at Trademark is very important. Students' attendance and tardies will be watched more closely this year. If your student is absent please call the school at 348-3550 within 48 hours. If it is before or after office hours, please leave a message.

Cell Phones and electronic devices will not be tolerated during class time. Students will be asked to give them to the principal if they are using them in class. Please contact the school if you need to talk with your student. Unless it is an emergency, students will only be allowed to use the school phone during breaks between classes. Use of the school phone will be limited.
 
AREA 1:  GANG ACTIVITY
Some students are highly influenced by the gang activity that takes place in their neighborhoods.  Many students belong to gangs or are influenced by members of local gangs.  At Trademark, all association and reference to gang life is prohibited.  Trademark is a gang-neutral school and will not tolerate the influences that gang association brings, including but not limited to:
 
  • Writing gang signs, symbols or names.
  • Having these written signs, symbols or names on notebooks or textbooks.
  • Using street names or writing street names associated with gangs.
  • Using specific numbers associated with local gangs.  These include, but are not limited to the numbers:  13, 14, 18, and 21.  These numbers may not be written on or worn on articles of clothing.
  • Wearing or displaying bandanas, beanies or "rags".
  • Wearing hairnets is unacceptable because of their association with gang appearance.
  • Wearing hats or caps on school property during school hours.
  • Wearing gloves (or a single glove) inside the school buildings.  (You may wear pair of gloves outside during inclement weather.)
  • Flashing signs that might be interpreted as gang signs.
  • Using gang-related comments.
  • Whistling on school property or during school activities.
  • Displaying gang tattoos.  Tattoos that are gang-related must be covered up while at school.
  • wearing a gang related colors are prohibited.

NOTICE TO PARENTS
 
As a parent of a student at Trademark, you have the right to know the professional qualifications of the classroom teacher who instructs your child.  This is a requirement for all districts that receive Title I funds.  Federal law allows you to request certain information about your student's classroom teacher.  The law also requires the district to give you this information in a timely manner upon request.  Listed below is the information about which you have the right to ask for regarding each of your student classroom teachers.
  • Whether the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) has licensed or endorsed your student's teacher for the grades and subjects taught.
  • Whether CDE has decided that your student's teacher can teach in a classroom without being licensed or qualified under state regulations because of specific circumstances.
  • The teacher's college major; whether the teacher has any advanced degrees, and if so, the subject of the degrees.
  • Whether any teachers' aides or similar paraeducators provide services to your child and, if they do, their qualifications.
